Branding, Packaging, Seamless Patterns and Social Media

I started working with Capital Socks creating seamless patterns for their products based on current pattern trends and their brand value of reflecting our local environment.

Once this project was completed we worked together on a rebrand to accurately represent Capital Socks and what they value as a business, while also appealing to their target market. This project also involved designing updated packaging, labels, business cards, thank you cards and gift vouchers.

We then continued to work together on more seamless patterns for their socks based on their own ideas or designed for other organisations including the National Museum of Australia.

We also created a social media strategy based on their target market, creating user personas, outlining the best times and platforms to reach them, defining their voice and creating a balanced and sustainable content plan. I then began managing their social media and their following grew by 83% within the first month after implementing our strategies. I continued to manage their social media from May 2021 - May 2022 and their IG following grew from 216 followers to 1,435 through consistently sharing high quality, valuable content that appealed to their target market and using a process of evaluation and goal setting monthly.

“When we approached Emma to help with Capital Socks branding, she listened to us to understand exactly what we wanted, she communicated and updated us all the way through the process. We’re stoked with every aspect of our branding and this has led to other collaborations with Emma, including assisting with sock illustrations, business cards and gift box design. We continue to collaborate with Emma and are very happy with her attention to detail and quality of her work.”
